This is a customer focused role providing a service to maintain a continuous supply of goods to the forefront of delivering patient and clinical care. As an Assistant Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the Procurement Inventory Management System which is used to raise orders for medical consumables within clinical departments across the Trust. The employee will develop a strong understanding of how to use the inventory management systems to become the main provider of training for clinical staff, using the system for scan to patient tracking across the trusts and internal training for the Supply Chain Team.
The ideal candidate will have a full understanding of best customer service practices and possess the ability to work on their own initiative, developing customer relationships and new effective order processes. Excellent communications skills are paramount and the ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team. A good standard of general education and numerical competency is essential. Strong computer literacy is also critical. Previous experience within procurement and the Health sector would be extremely favourable.
