Assistant Supply Chain Manager

About the Role

Joining our passionate and dedicated existing Supply Chain team you will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Maintain Local Supply Chain (LSC) & Coins databases in line with business unit Supply Chain intel
• Issue and control new PQQ subcontractor requests with close liaison with Supply Chain Manager (SCM)
• Analyse Monthly LSC Performance Scoring and produce league tables
• Subcontractor Profile Documents to be re-issued and updated for each business unit.
• Assist in the timely return of Supply Chain Rebate Forms to the Hub.
• Co-ordinate and administer Supply chain events with the SCM
• Co-ordinate B2B meetings with the SCM/Supply chain
• Assist in pre-construction with detailed Supply Chain strategies for tenders with the SCM
• Assist in Social value interaction with the Supply Chain for the SCM
• Support with regional and national Framework KPI’s relevant to Supply Chain
• Support Supply Chain on how to use Morgan Sindall Supply Chain Academy

About You

With a proven and successful track record in a Supply Chain, you’ll be educated to degree level and ideally have experience of working with the construction industry. You’ll have a strong commercial awareness and acumen, along with excellent communication skills, a real team player. You will have good IT Skills, specifically with Excel and the use of Pivot Tables.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
