Joining our established, multi-disciplinary Hospital Team you’ll work with both health and social care colleagues to deliver excellent social work services that make a difference to adults in need of social care.
As a fully qualified Social Worker experienced in safeguarding, complex case work, resource allocation and funding, you’ll be passionate about working with people to achieve the best outcomes – enabling people to be safe, as independent as possible and to live the lives they want.
You’ll focus on leading and managing Senior Case Workers and Social Workers and manage your own small, but complex, case load. With a shared responsibility for leading and managing within the wider team, you’ll support our duty function and deputise for the Team Manager and assist in the strategic planning and delivery of the service in line with our governance principles.
Using your excellent communication and relationship building skills, you’ll enjoy developing effective and positive relationships with individuals and professional health staff, both inside and outside of the hospital team.
Hampshire County Council values the outstanding contribution you make to our service. In return, we can offer you a great learning environment in a team that values professional development, supports one another, and makes a real difference. This is offered alongside an extensive Benefits package and a £3,000 market supplement (pro-rata if part-time) in addition to your annual salary.
The working hours for this role are 4 days per week, Friday to Monday, 8:30am to 5pm, and the Sunday hours will be paid at time and a half.
