Role: Assistant Technical Manager
Salary: £40-50k
Shifts: Monday-Friday
Location: Lincolnshire
The Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Technical Manager to join a thriving team in Lincolnshire. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet and exceed food industry standards for quality and safety. You will oversee all aspects of quality control, from raw materials to finished products, and implement processes to continuously improve operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor product quality and identify areas for improvement.
* Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions as necessary.
* Collaborate with production and NPD teams to implement new processes and technologies that improve product quality and efficiency.
* Train and mentor quality assurance staff to maintain a high level of competence and professionalism.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
