Overview
Your chance to join a thriving business, manufacturing food for the major UK retailers. They are the leading supplier in their sector. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic Technical team.
The Role
- Assist with adherence to customer requirements.
- Contribute to third party audits in order to help maintain key accreditations.
- Conduct Internal Audits.
- Deliver Technical training to the wider business.
- Be ‘seen’ in all areas of the site, including the growing and packing areas.
- Manage formulation and regulatory requirements alongside the team.
- Assist with adherence to customer requirements through the Q.A. Department.
- Help develop packing and packaging specifications, ensuring compliance with EU/UK
- legislation relating to food production, transport and sale.
- Work closely with Operations and the Senior management team.
They Candidate
- Excellent Technical knowledge and a strong background
- A track record of working effectively with internal & external stakeholders.
- Food manufacturing experience with a strong understanding of BRC.
- A good understanding of quality management systems.
- Intermediate or advanced HACCP.
