Assistant to Intermediate Quantity Surveyor –Bolton – Water & Civils - Salary circa £45k + excellent package
We have a great new opportunity for an Assistant to Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a leading privately-owned UK group operating in the civil engineering and utility sectors on a full delivery model. They have operated in the North West for over 150 years and have major expansion plans.
They have a significant number of framework contracts with the Utility sector, Local Authorities and key infrastructure clients, providing guaranteed work for the coming years, a lot of which is North West based.
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to take the step up to Intermediate level!
As Intermediate Quantity Surveyor you would work across disciplines to include highways, utilities and water, giving a nice diverse range of projects to work on. You will join an already busy and fast paced team where there are excellent opportunities to develop and grow. You will be able to show an understanding of the tender information and process. You will commercially manage subcontractors and liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders and clients to ensure best commercial outcomes are achieved.
They are seeking someone who ideally has 3-4 years experience from a civils background who has experience of administering NEC contracts and has a good understanding of JCT and ICE contracts. You will ideally hold a degree in Quantity Surveying.
