Job description

Assistant to the Head of EDIB

Salary: GBP27,081 pro rata
Contract: Permanent, Part Time (24 Hours per week)
Location: Hybrid: Turn2us London Hub (Hammersmith) & homeworking

As the Assistant to the Head of EDIB at Turn2us, you ll be a valued member of the inclusion team which sits in our Impact and Innovation Directorate. Your work ensures the Head of EDIB can dedicate more of their time to strategic efforts in EDIB, Co-production, and Safeguarding. The Assistant role involves a range of tasks including managing the Head of EDIB's diary and inbox, coordinating meetings, and maintaining an efficient filing system of key documents across the inclusion portfolio. This Assistant position is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in exciting initiatives, meet a variety of people, and expand your knowledge and experience in the areas of EDIB, Co-production and safeguarding all whilst contributing to our broader mission to tackle financial insecurity.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in diary management, administration, or similar role. They should have excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive, empathetic, and skilled in communication and collaboration. They should have an open-minded approach, a growth mindset, and the ability to come up with creative solutions to solving administrative challenges.

We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are contractually required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month.

Some roles may be required to be in the office more often than others and this will be agreed with the hiring manager upon starting at Turn2us.
