SalaryExciting opportunity - Assistant Trainer Required to join a growing dual licence yard with James Owen in Newmarket. After only one year training under rules, James has a strike rate of over 20% and is a trainer going places. The job offers opportunities to go racing, Pool Money and a friendly team.
We are looking for a team player who ideally has previous experience of managing staff. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and help drive the team forward to future success. Duties will include: smooth running of the yard (incl. dealing with staff, horses, vets and owners, including syndicates/owner groups), some administration, representation at the races, the ability to ride and drive a horsebox is also desirable but not essential. We work a one in three weekend with one afternoon off every week.
