The Position of an Assistant Transport Planner
The successful candidate will support the senior members of staff and be meaningfully engaged in all streams of work, and work on a variety of projects. Typical duties will include developing solutions to transportation problems such as congestion, assessing the environmental impact of new infrastructure plans, designing transport routes and much more.
Essential Requirements for an Assistant Transport Planner
- A degree in either Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Town Planning, Geography, or maths.
- Previous consultancy experience
- Knowledge of transport methods, costs, and benefits
- Teamwork and communications skills
- Knowledge of engineering science and technology
