A passion for working with young people Ability to encourage and support young people to try new activities and to socialise with their peersAwareness for inclusive practicesAwareness of activities offered as part of youth work programmes Being a positive role model to the young people we support Have completed or working towards the completion of a level 2 qualification in youth work or equivalent such as health and social care OR Have a minimum of 1 years experience in working with young people in a paid or voluntary capacity and be willing to undertake the relevant youth work qualifications.
