With the Full Fibre Network Build sector booming, GCU is excited to welcome an Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team on contracts across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Under the direction of the Commercial Manager, you will be supported and prepared to excel in the following areas:
- Estimating and cost planning
- Contract administration and cost control
- Measuring and valuing works on-site
- Cost reporting on work
- Final account preparation
- Contract and dispute resolution
- Client and site-based engagement
- Monthly valuations, commercial reporting, and managing variations and expenditure
- Prioritizing health and safety, risk management, and margin control in all tasks
- Ensuring adherence to sub-contracts and managing sub-contractor payments
We are looking for candidates who hold or are graduating with a HND or above in Quantity Surveying.
