Job description

Are you a motivated and experienced Associate Building Surveyor looking for a new opportunity within a thriving consultancy? Our client, a reputable and growing firm, is seeking a dynamic individual to join office of 40 staff in Norwich. Working as an Associate Building Surveyor, you will wide range of professional services to clients across various sectors including healthcare, commercial, education, retail, residential and leisure.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting building surveys of housing defects/reports
  • Condition surveys
  • Repairs to buildings/insurance claims for flood/fire/impact (specification/contract documents
  • Party walls
  • Historic building survey/repairs
  • Overseeing project budgets, deadlines, and resource allocation
  • Monitoring and mentoring junior team members
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified
  • Proven expertise in delivering building surveying projects across different sectors
  • Sound knowledge of construction regulations and legislation
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team
  • Full UK driving licence
