Associate Client Director - Cambridge

About the role:


As a Senior Manager or Associate Director at Hays, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing business opportunities within a major client account. You will be responsible for the strategic management of this client account, fostering effective partnerships with the end client, driving growth opportunities & providing innovative solutions to tackling the talent shortage across a major life sciences business. This account is one of Hays' most prestigious programmes working within a well-established relationship in our Life Sciences sector.


What it looks like day to day:
As a Senior Manager or Associate Director of a one of the largest MSP accounts in Hays, you will lead a team of talented recruitment professionals to identify solutions for the client, ensure that Hays meets its service level agreements and maintains its position of expertise with the end client. This is an innovative account with ambitious plans to grow and an open mind on what solutions we could provide to enable the client to reach their strategic goals. Your critical day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing specialist expert advice, support and recommendations to senior key stakeholders on specific market conditions including competitor activity, skills availability, demographics, and salary surveys.
  • Developing strong relationships with HR, procurement and other senior key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring contract governance and that client agreements and changes are maintained and documented effectively.
  • Responsibility for the development, production and presentation of all client reporting requirements at regular management meetings ensuring that all SLA and KPI targets are met as per the client account contract.
  • Development of a strategic approach to attracting and recruiting talent effectively internally.

What you need to be successful:

You will develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide expert advice on market conditions and competitor activity whilst pushing strategic direction for client accounts and identifying growth opportunities and implementing client development strategies.

You will ensure compliance with contracts, service agreements, and legislative requirements are continually being kept to a high standard:

To be successful:

  • To have strong MSP background operating in a leadership position within client engagement
  • Ability to lead and motivate others, setting and achieving goals effectively.
  • Experience managing a complex multi-structured MSP from a fast-paced professional environment
  • Drive focus on data accuracy, security and integrity.
  • Proven track record of developing accounts and growing service lines within the account

It would be beneficial to have:

  • Experience working on a global account.
  • Interest or working experience within Life Sciences
  • Understanding of additional workforce solutions
