Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and X-rays
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide preventive dental care
- Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless experience
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience as a Dentist or completion of a residency program
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and equipment
- Proficiency in anatomy and understanding of medical imaging techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work well in a team environment
