Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations and coordinate month-end activities• Provide high-quality reporting and analysis• Ensure robust balance sheet reconciliations• Develop systems, processes, and controls for enhanced efficiency• Represent Accounting & Finance in audit meetings• Lead statutory audits and grant discussions• Partner with regional management to support reporting needs• Coach and mentor staff to improve performance• Complete ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management
Requirements
• Technically strong in IFRS and knowledge of accounting policy and procedures• Excellent oral and written communications and strong leadership skills• Ability to build long-term relationships with non-financial stakeholders• Knowledge of financial systems, Peoplesoft and Hyperion an advantage• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines• High level of integrity and self-confidence• Continuous process improvement mindset• Fully qualified Accountant CA / ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience• 3-5 years progressive PQE• Previous experience in Life Science or Manufacturing Organizations advantageous
