About This Job:

As an Associate DirectorBusiness Information Management (TBIM), you will work alongside the Director TBIM, your primary focus will be on cultivating a high-performance team and driving value for Astellas in the realm of Technology within the PT Division.

You hold the crucial responsibility of being the Astellas Business representative, ensuring that projects under the TBIM's purview are executed according to business requirements, within budget constraints, and meeting deadlines.

Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding other team members, empowering them to achieve both departmental and company-wide objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in steering the team towards success and aligning their efforts with organizational goals.

You will be part of an inclusive team that works to develop innovative therapies for patients.

Key Activities for this role:

• Business relationship management: Turn Global PT Division Business Strategy into a clearly directed, beneficial and cost-effective PT IS strategy. Discuss with the business on market trends, IT developments and projects to be pursued resulting in mutually agreed roadmaps.
• Business Analysis: Prepare Business Cases (including cost/benefit/risk analysis). Participate with Global IS in the appropriate selection of solutions and third parties required to support changes identified.
• Project management: Be responsible for initiating new IS projects and transitioning them into the delivery phase, ultimately handing them over to the global IS team. Ensure the availability of appropriate project plans for implementation addressing organizational, technical, process, change management, and training perspectives when introducing new applications.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Extensive and sustained experience in negotiating with vendors, prioritizing large workloads, planning, and budgeting.
• A high level of knowledge of Business Processes within the Manufacturing environment and Supply Chain.
• Extensive and sustained experience of vendor management in a large, complex IT outsourcing environment.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (Prince-2 based) and experience of managing complex IT projects.
• A high level of knowledge of Business Processes within the Manufacturing environment and Supply Chain.

Educations/Qualifications

• MA/MSc or equivalent.

Additional Information:

• This is a permanent, full-time permanent.
• Location: Ireland or Netherlands.
• This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2 days per week in our Ireland or Netherlands office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
