What you'll be doing

As an Associate Director - Business Intelligence for Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability at Verizon's Center Of Excellence in Limerick, Ireland, you will lead a team of master data management specialists to maintain master data in Verizon's ERP systems such as nSAP, vSAP, wSAP and 1ERP. You will closely collaborate with a counterpart in the United States to ensure that the business needs are met in a timely manner leveraging the follow-the-sun model of operations.
You will be responsible to:

• Understand operational business processes and opportunities across Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability

• Lead the operations support for master data management (including materials, contracts and pricing) in multiple ERP systems

• Provide executive statuses and updates at various levels

• Ensure that SLAs relating to incident management, fallout resolution and master data quality are adhered to

• Drive opportunities for continuous improvement in the day-to-day operations and end user support

• Make recommendations regarding the hiring, advancement, performance, promotion or any other change of status of team members

• Assess employee performance, train and provide ongoing direction and feedback to team members

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management or Computer Science or Information Technology or related fields

• Proven relevant experience within a similar role

• Experience working with and supporting SAP suite of products (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP, CAR, MDG)

• Experience in leading cross functional teams with understanding of how business and technical requirements interweave to create product solutions

• Knowledge of systems development life cycle within a large global enterprise environment

• Ability to manage and balance business and technical requirements

• Experience in communicating (written and spoken) highly technical, multi-faceted solutions to business partners in a simple, understandable manner

• Experience managing large-scale programs with end-to-end accountability

• Highly organized with an ability to manage competing priorities

• Demonstrated interpersonal communication, organization and project management skills

• Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Master's degree in Data Management or Computer Science or Information Technology or related fields

• SAP Certification in SAP Master Data Governance

• Hands-on experience with Service Now for supporting end users

• Relevant experience with strategic solutions and/or systems integration design and solutions

• Communication, organization, and negotiation skills with the ability to successfully work multiple projects simultaneously
