Associate Director, Higher Education

My Client, an impressive Corporate Finance business, seek a Senior Associate/Associate Director level banker or accountant with strong Higher Education sector expertise, to join their broader Real Estate team in London.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS • 5+ years’ corporate finance related experience with a minimum of 3 years’ transactional experience, with knowledge of the sectors outlined above • Demonstrable experience across the HE, Student Accommodation and broader Social Infrastructure sectors • Ability to lead, interpret and convey outputs of financial modelling and analysis • Some existing financial sponsor, lender, investor, developer and corporate relationships through the transactions you have worked on but with a clear ambition to grow your network and a strong profile within the industries described • Ability to help to identify strategic opportunities, establish and grow key relationships, operating in an entrepreneurial and fast-growth corporate finance environment • Strong understanding of equity and debt capital and capital structuring, some derivatives knowledge helpful but not essential • Experience and willingness to lead/coach/mentor more junior colleagues and to work with more senior colleagues internally as well as external Senior Advisors and consultants. • An ambition to grow into a leadership role in this part of our business • Adaptable, able to pick up new assets, sectors and products, as well as prioritising and simultaneously working on multiple transactions
