Due to continued business growth our client is looking for an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join their Oxford office, which has a varied portfolio of clients and projects, both locally and nationally. Renowned for delivering top-tier cost management services, our client presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with robust quantity surveying experience in consultancy.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and supervise a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Deliver top-tier Quantity Surveying services to clients.
• Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including governance, fee management, internal job costing, and resource allocation.
• Craft fee proposals and bid submissions with guidance from the office Director.
• Cultivate client connections and ensure service excellence.
• Propel business expansion by spotting recurring and fresh business prospects.
• Work closely with other offices across the country to provide services and pursue new opportunities.
• Maintain adherence to quality assurance and environmental management protocols.

Qualifications:

• Membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent recognized body.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction forms, techniques, and costs.
• Exceptional customer management and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in representing the company during bid interviews.
• Sound knowledge of procurement options and contract experience (JCT and/or NEC).
• Familiarity with measurement methods and cost planning software.
• Strong people management abilities, including training and mentoring.
