About the team
We are looking to appoint an Associate Director to lead our work on the Regulation of National Assessments.
The role sits within our General Qualifications Directorate. You will be a member of Ofqual’s wider leadership group, working with colleagues from across the organisation to deliver our regulatory priorities.
What will the post holder be doing?
You will be leading Ofqual’s work to meet its National Assessments related statutory objectives.
You will own Ofqual’s approach to reviewing assessments, leading the monitoring and reporting on key risks and related research.
You will also manage relevant relationships with the Standards Testing Agency (STA), DfE and other stakeholders.
The role requires experience of successfully engaging with and influencing policy-makers, managing stakeholder relationships and being able to work flexibly.
You will need to have sound judgement and be able to solve complex problems and generate new ideas along with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop staff.
