A leading global, luxury brand is seeking a dynamic professional for the role of Associate Merchandise Planner. As part of a driven and fast-paced team, your role will play a crucial part in supporting planning activities to optimize sales and profitability in this well-established company. Duties:
- Interpret reports and summarize key findings
- Assist in forecasting and planning.
- Accurately forecast WSSI and communicate relevant information to the Planner.
- Monitor intake, OTB position & stocks across the team and report on any findings
- Manage inventory through trade analysis
- Oversee seasonal recodes, amend forecasts, action seasonal markdowns
- Take an active leadership role with new members of the team and assist in team training and development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Buying and Allocation
- 3-5 years+ experience in core merchandising
- Fashion experience, ideally from within luxury or similar
- Demonstrable experience working with WSSI and OTB
- Strong analytical and numerical mind-set.
- Top class communication skills with the ability to present information in a concise but meaningful way
- Solution-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Organisational and time management skills and keen attention to detail
- Excellent MS Excel (v-look ups, pivot tables, h-lookups etc) and confident using data management tools.
- A positive presence in the team with a collaborative mindset and leadership qualities
