Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a dynamic Planning and Design Consultancy in their hire of an ambitious and experienced Associate Planner to their Nottingham based team!
The current team is close-knit and made up of 10 planning and design specialists who work on an exciting range of projects across commercial, residential, Infrastructure, Retail and Leisure, and more.
Your role will be to help strengthen the planning team and be a more experienced lead on more complex planning proposals. You will lend support and reviewing capacity to the wider team including in their mentoring and development and lead a group of employees on major projects. You will also contribute towards business development and wider company objectives.
The ideal candidate will be MRTPI Chartered and will have previous experience as an Associate, or at Principal level looking for a step up the career ladder. An understanding of Masterplanning and management of more complex application processes including EIA and Local Plan Examination will be beneficial.
