💰 Salary: £27,565.01 - £33,353.66 (dependant on location, experience and skills)

About the role

We are looking for an Product Owner to join our IT Team. In this role, you will provide critical support to our primary business systems, including our electronic patient records system, omni-channel telephony system and HR system as well as managing any integrations to these both now and in future.

You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Head of IT, and the broader IT team, as well as the PMO, Transformation, Governance, Clinical Safety, Business Intelligence, and other colleagues across the organisation. Confidence in liaising with stakeholders at board and director levels is crucial.

This position also involves working with third-party suppliers and colleagues to ensure effective service delivery and prompt issue resolution. Occasionally, configurations may need to be performed outside of normal working hours.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to balance remote and in-office work. You'll have the opportunity to work in 360-degree holistic way through product management, addressing issues while influencing the product's future. This position provides a unique opportunity to enhance and apply your product management skills in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities and Experience:

  • Experience of designing and delivering organisation-wide transformation initiatives as part of a structured design, delivery and change process.
  • Previous experience of managing a business critical system, providing advice and specialist knowledge to others.
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong management of stakeholder interactions, ensuring decisions that best support the evolution and utilisation of our systems, and the delivery of services to our clients.
  • Analytically minded, forward thinking and professional.
  • Working knowledge of database systems.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of GDPR and PCI compliance.
  • Understanding of ITIL v3/4.
  • Familiarity with Prince2 or Agile project frameworks.
