Location City Derry/Londonderry or Letterkenny Overview of Role FinTrU are looking for Mid-level Product Development Engineers to join our Technology team. We are building exciting new SaaS products for the RegTech sector, we are growing our Engineering team in the North West region and are recruiting for Software Engineers with Product Development experience. We are ideally looking for this role to be based in the North West region, in either our Derry/Londonderry or Letterkenny offices. Job Details What can you expect in this role: Working locally on the global stage to support the building out of innovative SaaS products within an Agile Framework, you will interact with multiple disciplines, such as Data Science, InfoSec, DevOps, Architecture, Product and Program Management, contributing to our culture of Engineering excellence. Implement FinTrU's Product strategy using proven frameworks and cutting-edge technology stacks to accomplish the end goal. Research, design, build, and enhance, new and existing, robust framework solutions to accommodate changes to solutions ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and maintainable. Drive your own professional development and help others succeed in their professional development Work to and improve on existing Product Development Engineering processes, standards, and practices by exploring new technologies and industry standards Contribute to the growth of FinTrU Technology and help define our path The essential experience required for this role: 4+ years within a Software Development environment, with hands on Product Development included in this timeframe. Code: .NET, OOP skills, REST API design Data: RMDBS & No-SQL (OLTP and OLAP) structured and unstructured data skills (query, modelling, indexing), Caching (Redis or other), search engine and indexing (Elastic or other stack) Messaging experience with Apache Kafka / Azure Service Bus Hosting environment docker, kubernetes, Microsoft Azure Practices and patterns - Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, SOLID, Event Driven Architecture, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Inner Sourcing, Data & API versioning, API Gateway, Integration Patterns, Service Oriented API First Architecture Infrastructure as code Machine Learning exposure - desired but not essential Person Specification for this role: You are passionate about building Regulatory Technology SAAS products to help combat financial crime, by applying the latest technologies to optimise automated KYC, monitoring, and regulatory reporting. You are a passionate individual who will support, lead and drive the building of SaaS products promoting a positive Engineering culture.
