Associate Tutor / Assessor

Due to Growth within Educationwise Academy's OUTSTANDING team we have an excellent opportunity to join the Educationwise Academy team, within a new role as an Associate Tutor / Assessor.

Educationwise Academy is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associate Tutor / Assessor to join our team and propel our brand forward. As a Personal Training or Sports Coach Tutor, you will play a critical role in delivering vocational courses from Level 2 to Level 3 in the fitness and sport industries. This remote position requires a dedicated professional capable of using virtual platforms to effectively engage and teach adult learners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver vocational training courses tailored for adult learners at Levels 2 and 3.

- Conduct regular assessments and progress reviews to ensure learners meet and exceed their learning targets.

- Maintain up-to-date learner records and provide timely reports to support management and compliance requirements.

- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance training materials and adapt delivery methods for remote learning.

- Utilise your vocational expertise to deliver both theoretical and practical knowledge effectively.

Teaching Qualifications: (Tutors must hold, or be working towards, one of the following teaching qualifications)

- Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

- Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.

- Certificate in Education.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

- Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS).

Assessor Qualifications: (Tutors must also hold, or be working towards, any of the following assessment qualifications)

- Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment.

- Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement.

- Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment.

- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.

- A1 Assessor Award (previously D32, D33).

Behaviours and skills:

- Vocational experience in the relevant sector.

- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed set performance targets.

- Proficient in IT and familiar with e-portfolio management systems.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong passion for coaching and developing adult learners.
