ATA VDA/Assistant Bodyshop Manager

Dedicated to providing top-quality service and vehicle body repairs. With a track record of excellence and customer satisfaction, the repair centre is seeking a skilled ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor / Assistant  Bodyshop Manager  to join their team.

As an ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Assistant Bodyshop Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day to day running of the business. You will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and creating detailed repair estimates whilst providing support to the Bodyshop Manager in all areas of running the business.

As an ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Assistant Bodyshop Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Thoroughly inspecting vehicles to identify any necessary repair work, maintaining accurate records / documents for the vehicle damage and producing detailed repair plans
• Using industry software packages to create accurate repair estimates which will calculate the costs for repairs, parts and materials
• You will be working closely with the Technicians, Parts Team, and other members of staff to assist the Bodyshop Manager with the smooth functioning of the business
• Effectively communicate with customers / relaying feedback when necessary
• Maintaining accurate records carried out in the workshop, raising invoices and billing when necessary
• You will be providing support to other team members / colleagues and be answering calls
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to

As an ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Assistant  Bodyshop Manager, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator / VDA (Essential)
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Knowledge of automotive repairs / techniques (Essential)
• Knowledge of Bodynet and Audatex Management systems (Preferable)

Hours:

•     Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM
