Robert Half Technology are assisting a global financial services organisation based in London to recruit a Atlassian Jira Developer paying £450 - £550 per day

Role

• The Atlassian Jira Developer will build, customize, and support the Atlassian JIRA workflow automation capability/application to meet the needs and demands of key client stakeholders and their mission
• Configure workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes
• Configure Add-ons and modules to expand the capabilities of Atlassian stack
• Leverage JavaScript, JSP, SQL, Python and other programming languages
• Build APIs within Atlassian products and cross network applications
• Recommend, design, and built out industry recommended or customized Atlassian Jira Workflows
• Build Identity & Access Management (IAM) integrations for Atlassian Authentication & Authorization with technologies such as Active Directory or LDAP
• Adhere to scrum within the agile methodology to complete work

Profile

• The Atlassian Jira Developer will have an understanding of cloud architectures and enabling tools and technologies, such as, Azure Cloud (GovCloud/C2S)
• Familiar with Azure cloud
• Proficient experience utilizing JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, Node.js, MongoDB, JSON, SQL, XML
• Familiar with technologies jQuery, ASP/.Net, NoSQL, PL/SQL, LDAP, HTTP, REST/SOAP, RDBMS
• Familiar with Configuration Management and CI Tools, such as, Git/Gitlab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Ansible, Chef
• Familiar with Linux/Unix server environments
