Location: The Bemrose School
Hours: 37 hours a week
Contract type: Permanent, 52 weeks a year

3-19 mixed comprehensive
NOR 1450 approx.

The post involves working with school staff, pupils, parents and carers, and the Education Welfare Service, to promote school wide attendance and punctuality strategies.
We are looking for:
  • an individual with energy, positivity, encouragement and the expertise to provide the best possible provision for our pupils.
  • an individual with previous experience of working with pupils and their families with attendance issues.
  • an individual who is creative, versatile and can demonstrate resilience.
This is a key post which focusses on:
  • improving pupil attendance and punctuality
  • reducing persistent and unauthorised absence

This is a very exciting and demanding role where you can make a difference. Developing positive attitudes to learning is fundamental when, as a school, one of our key priorities is raising the attainment and progress of all children.
