Attendance Improvement Officer (E2655) - Co-op Academy Leeds

Co-op Academies Trust aims to provide an outstanding education for all our learners, founded on co-operative values, at the heart of the community.  It is responsible for 32 academies in West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Wirral, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent with the Co-op acting as the sponsor. There is the likelihood of significant further growth in the near future.

Co-op Academy Leeds is a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted, Nov 2022) and on the back of our recent successes we’re fully committed to getting even better.

We’re looking for an Attendance Improvement Officer to join our team. This is a key role in providing liaison between home and the Academy. The successful candidate will support and challenge both our young people and their families to improve their attendance at school.   

A confident and effective communicator, you’ll be relentless in your drive to improve attendance at school, thinking outside of the box to develop attendance initiatives, working in partnership with other colleagues and stakeholders where appropriate. 

A clean and full driving licence is an essential requirement for the post. 

And of course, you’ll do all this whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values and whilst role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours.
