Attendance Officer
£23,114 - £23,500 FTE (Actual £20,091-£20,427) NJC Scale 3-4 with pay award pending
37 hours per week TTO plus 1 week (39 weeks)
Start Date 1st March 2024 (or as soon as possible after)
We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our fantastic school as an Attendance Officer. The successful candidate will join our admin team and will carry out administrative tasks relating to Attendance, Census and Year 11 work experience with specific responsibility for whole school attendance. You will join our very busy school office and provide First Aid support to pupils and contact parents if required.
The appointed person will be able to work independently and as part of a team and will have excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner as well as the ability to be confident and calm under pressure.
Essential requirements include:
* GCSE grade C or above in English & Maths
* Working knowledge of Word
* Ability to prioritise, multi-task and communicate successfully
* Knowledge of SIMS (desirable)
* First Aid training is desirable (but will be essential with training provided if successful)
* Previous experience working in a school (desirable)
