Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing evaluations and assessments to determine the extent of hearing loss
- Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids or other assistive listening devices
- Provide counselling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies, and hearing aid use
- Perform regular maintenance and adjustments on hearing aids
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology technology and techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of audiology principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in conducting diagnostic tests and interpreting results
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document patient information
- Strong problem-solving skills to address patient concerns and find appropriate solutions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
