As a crucial member of the team, you will collaborate with a talented mix of Architects, Data Scientists, Engineers, Experience Designers, Business Analysts, Testing specialists, and Product Owners. Together, we build, deliver, and manage a portfolio of truly exciting products.

In recent years, our products' size and scale have rapidly expanded, leading to significant growth in our technology capability. There's never been a better time to join us.

With our ambitious growth plans, your future here is something to get excited about. As a valued team member, you’ll stay current within the latest trends in technology and audit delivery.

The Role

In support of embedding our Enterprise data strategy we are looking for someone to lead Data Governance across the UK Audit business, to ensure we know our critical data assets, and ensure the people, processes, and technology are in place to guide their management across their lifecycle. This is as part of a significant digital transformation for KPMG and in recognition of the value of data as a strategic asset. The role will report into the Head of Audit Technology & Solutions.

Data is foundational to achieving our ambition to be the fastest growing, most connected, most trusted professional services firm in the UK. Jon Holt, CEO KPMG UK, recognises that “without trust, we cannot grow” – and without trust in data, we cannot grow. As a firm we are investing in digital transformation and innovative solutions like Generative AI, as part of our five growth priority areas. However digital technologies and integrated solutions are only as good as that data created, used and shared within them, therefore we need to strengthen our governance practices to ensure we manage data as the asset it is.

The Data Governance Lead for Audit will deliver our vision to manage data as a strategic asset to enable business growth and be market leaders. The individual will be required to work across the business to agree accountabilities and responsibilities for data and put resources and structures in place, to ensure the data we rely on is governed, trustworthy, reliable and fit for purpose.
