Audit Manager – Nottingham

NSTR is working closely with a leading accountancy and business advisory firm in Nottingham to appoint an Audit Manager due to significant growth of the department and client base.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Partner, manage teams on audit assignments and be first point of contact to a portfolio of clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while developing a strong commercial understanding of their businesses
• Identify and action business development opportunities
• Manage, develop and train junior team members, assisting with continued recruitment to grow the team

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Previous experience managing a team
• Strong working knowledge and experience of UK GAAP, GAAS, IFRS and financial reporting requirements, systems/controls testing
• Strong audit experience to include consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures
