Description
- Oversee auditing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients in and around London
- Provide guidance and support to audit teams and clients.
- Ensure all auditing activities from the initial planning stage through to completion comply with current regulations and UKGAAP and IFRS standards.
- Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage relationships with clients to ensure solutions are sourced, their needs are met and exceeded.
- Participate in business development activities to expand client base.
- Keep updated with CPD and relay any new regulations standards to your team ensuring compliance
- Continuously improve auditing process by implementing new and effective auditing techniques.
Profile
A successful Audit Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification, such as ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
- Proficiency in auditing software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional knowledge and practical experience of auditing principles and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the professional services industry.
- Must have experience from a UK practice firm
- Must have full UK working rights
