The Role
- Being responsible for managing audit clients and be the first point of contact for them
- Mentoring and training the wider audit team
- Managing an Audit team of up to 10 people
- Ensuring deadlines are being met and company procedures adhered to
- Writing business reports and correspondence
- Being involved in the end to end process of engagements with clients with regard to their Audits
- Billing and monitoring actual costs against budgets and reporting to partners on variances
- Review internal processes and prove recommendations for improvements
- Support the firm's business growth by maintaining relationships with key contacts and building a prospective network.
- Provide valuable contributions to client meetings, professionally handling queries
Skills Required
- Experience in management of external audits
- ACA or ACCA Qualification
- Strong understanding of FRS 102
- Previous Audit experience obtained in an Accountancy Practice
- Strong Communication skills
