Audit Partner Designate
Based at a Firm of Chartered Accountants in Solihull, this role presents a huge opportunity for an exceptionally talented audit accountant with great experience, ambition, leadership qualities and the ability to drive the firm forward into a new generation of accountancy.
This will include contributing to the strategic direction of the office, and recruitment into, and leadership of, the team. In addition, you will play a key role in developing the office’s market proposition, as well as a personal marketing approach and your own target list and opportunities. You will also, eventually, be expected to act as RI on a small portfolio of clients, and support delivery on some larger/complex existing clients alongside the wider team to support your technical development and understanding of the firm methodology.
Your Profile:
- A university degree and/or ACA/ACCA professional qualification.
- Experience of managing a portfolio of clients for services ranging from statutory audits, annual and monthly accounts preparation, corporate and personal tax compliance and ad-hoc consultancy work.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest auditing, accounting standards and practices and statutory disclosure requirements for financial statements.
- Hands-on experience of supervising a team, ensuring fulfilment of clients’ requirements in a professional and timely manner.
- Excellent working knowledge of the various accounting and taxation software packages, including Sage, Digita, Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to engage with clients, team members and assist the directors in practice development.
