Due to the niche nature of our clients business, we are interested in hearing from anyone with hands on experience working as an Auto Electrician for classic, prestige British cars.

Our client, a rapidly growing, well-established and reputable classic automotive business provides general servicing, maintenance, repair, recommissioning and restoration for historic vehicles dating from the 1940’s up to the early 00’s.

Building the business from sheer passion for the industry, they are now a multi-site business in Surrey who are looking to recruit an experienced Auto Electrician.

About you:

• Previous experience working with classic British cars (Aston Martins, Bentleys, Jaguars, Rolls Royce etc)
• Passionate
• UK driving licence (clean)
• Detail orientated

The Role:

• Solid understanding of British built cars from the second half of the 20th century
• Accurately and skilfully undertake the servicing, repair, recommissioning and restoration of the electrics of classic motor cars
• Take responsibility for the 12v systems on restored and modernised cars to ensure full functionality of all 12v components and instruments; diagnosing any additional faults for further repair
• Work with the rest of the team on the refitting of external and internal trim on recommissioned and restored cars
• Provide all customers with exceptional customer experience. Demonstrating total professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in all communications with customers and colleagues alike, both verbal, and written to ensure relationships are built on trust and encourage long term customer retention.
• Detail orientated with excellent written and verbal communication skills ensuring that 100% customer satisfaction is delivered
• Work with other departments and third party suppliers and customers to facilitate the servicing and repair of vehicles
• Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with the Company, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
• Road-testing customer cars to ensure repairs have been carried out to the highest standard and the car is free of other faults.
• Undertake all other tasks and responsibilities as requested.
