Are you an Auto Electrician or coachbuilder with a level 3 qualification?

Based in Nursling this organisation works to ensure that all emergency vehicles in the Hampshire county are operating at the highest level.
They are an organisation that prides itself on its excellent working conditions, investment into the latest kit and investment in all their staff. Vehicle technicians are put through MOT courses, level 3 maintenance of electric vehicles and many more.
The main function of this role involves maintaining and commissioning specialist vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.
The role offers a unique opportunity to maintain and commission a diverse range of vehicles and also ancillary equipment for example Lights, CCTV, Trackers, System controllers, and advanced electronic components.
The ideal candidate will have a level 3 qualification, must be able to read wiring diagrams, must be able to pass a 4 pin relay circuit and have a background in coach building or Auto Electrician.

The role:
*To carry out commissioning and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
*When required to attend other trust premises to undertake and guide repairs ensuring safety guidelines are followed.
*To prepare new vehicles for service and prepare old vehicles for disposal.
*To maintain the upkeep of records relating to the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
*To have due regard to the health and safety of yourself and others, reporting any hazards or accidents immediately.
*To be aware of and follow security procedures.
*To attend training courses relating to the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
The person
*Level 3 in relevant subject to vehicle technician/ car mechanic.
*Have experience in an Auto Electrician role or coachbuilder
*Live commutable to the Eastleigh area
