As a Level 2 Autocare Technician Apprentice, your role will include:
- To assist senior technicians and work independently, carrying out servicing and repairs as required to a wide range of vehicles.
- Demonstrate expertise in the technical elements of the role and have good grasp of the practical and theoretical aspects of the vehicle systems.
- Dealing with customers directly and having effective sales skills.
- Strong problem solving and self organisation skills.
- Working as part of a team but also operate independently.
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

- Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 5:30pm, closed at Christmas
- No work on weekends or bank holidays
- 21 days of annual leave in addition to bank holidays
- Maths GCSE at Grade 4/C or above
- English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above
- Full Driving Licence
- Computer literate and willing to learn
- One day per week at New College Durham
- Level 2 Autocare Technician Qualification gained upon completion
You will need to travel to Willington 4 days per week for an 8am start.
You will also be required to attend New College Durham 1 day per week for a 9am start.
