CitySprint have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer. As a successful Automation Engineer, you will work collaboratively with, and support developers during the development of new features and fixes. You will review functional documentation, execute test cases based on functional requirements and communicate results and issues to the Automation Lead. Ensure all issues are logged, fixed, and escalated where necessary and analyse the issues to check for quality, providing reports where necessary. The main responsibilities within the role are: To support the Automation & Technical Lead in creating an automation framework across all the CitySprint applications, Apps and API’s You will be responsible for raising and managing all issues using the providing tools, escalating issues where needed to the Automation & Technical Lead where necessary. Work closely with the Automation & Technical Lead to ensure Automation testing for new development is completed in a timely fashion and quality is assured. Responsible for ensuring automation frameworks are built across all web and mobile apps and that they are developed and maintained You will work towards ensuring all deployment build pipelines contain automation tests across all environments, creating new automation tests for any new services built by third parties. Take ownership of a problem and see it through to resolution The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: Good understanding of the Application / App you are testing and how this is used across the Busines Good understanding of the negative impact on the Business a deployment with issues would cause. Accurate, with good analysis and debugging skills JIRA (Test Management, Planning, Reporting) Defect reporting and triage Ability to monitor and report on progress – highlighting risks and issues as appropriate Excellent knowledge of Web, Mobile (IOS and Android), and cross browser automation testing Ability to write test scripts in java, cucumber, and selenium Experience with Source Labs automation application would be advantageous Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, BDD, V-model and Waterfall Knowledge of UAT, Regression, Functional and System testing Knowledge of Jira/ Confluence The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
