We are urgently seeking an Automation Infrastructure Test Lead/Manager that provide specialist testing advice and delivery.
This for our client who are a Global IT Service Provider. This will be on a contract and mainly based in Bristol, with hybrid working from home.
Job Description
The role will involve:
- Providing specialist testing advice and delivery
- Accountability for managing testing activities on projects within a program or service
- Working as part of the Data Centre team
- Supporting infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and post install check activities
- Leading and managing the testing effort
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Being an advocate for quality and test automation
- Supplying and presenting reports when required.
- Producing plan(s) and estimating test requirements when required
Skills, attributes and experience:
- Ability to articulate complex issues
- IaC implementation and optimisation
- Capable of assisting engineers with unit and compliance testing
- Advocate for Automated Infrastructure testing using IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
- Coding experience - able to contribute to coding sprints
Technical experience
- Must have core skill (Azure Integration Development Lead and D365 F&O)
- Complete Understanding of Data Centre Provisioning and Configuration
- Working Experience with Virtual Environment (VMs & Containers)
- Experience with Firewalls: Juniper & Fortinet
- Knowledge and Experience with Data Services in Cloud
- Experience with Ticketing tools JIRA
- Experience with Scripts Automation Tool - Shell scripting / PowerShell
- Experience with UNIX and Windows 2000/XP Platforms.
- Knowledge on VMware, vSphere & Tanzu Kubernetes Grid
- Knowledge on Ansible and Terraform
- Awareness of Data dog
