Are you a seeking a new challenge where you can make a significant impact working within a collaborative and innovative team? We have a fantastic opportunity as Automation Live Operations - Team Manager that could be the perfect role for you. 

This role involves leading the Production Analysts and Governance & Reporting Analysts who work in the Automation component team. Their main duties are to protect the live environment, ensure the smooth running of all Automation processes, and apply practices to manage risks and improve performance. They also establish and uphold the governance framework, as well as generate MI on Live process outcomes for the department and the wider business.

Main Duties

  • Support, guide, and mentor Automation Production Analysts and Governance and Reporting Analysts to enable them in their daily tasks and professional growth.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to the Automation team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Foster end-to-end coordination with process owners, developers, and IT teams to implement projects seamlessly and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Identify best practices and drive continuous improvement in Automation solutions, staying updated with industry trends and innovations.
  • Work closely with Business Units and departments to ensure conformance to governance and processes, aligning automation efforts with organizational goals.
  • Manage licenses and administer the UiPath Orchestrator and robots across different global business units, ensuring optimal utilization and compliance.
  • Take charge of the production key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring smooth execution and meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure scheduling of all live processes to effectively maintain SLAs and provide excellent customer service to our stakeholders.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, addressing queries, and providing regular updates on automation operations.
  • Prepare monthly reports on performance to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and provide feedback on the monthly claims compliance reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Communicate any new processes to relevant stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration and effective knowledge transfer.
  • Implement and oversee Production Tests and sign-off procedures, ensuring proper documentation and clear communication of expectations.
  • Develop and document a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for automation, including a priority matrix and protocols for working from different sites.

Essential experience

  • Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a experience of supporting, guiding, and mentoring team members.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills to effectively manage projects, resources, and timelines.
  • Proficiency in tracking and monitoring automation performance, KPIs, and process documentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of RPA technologies, particularly UiPath, and experience with orchestrator administration.
  • Effective use of confluence & JIRA - Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring effective collaboration and smooth integration.
  • A proactive and positive approach, coupled with exceptional problem-solving abilities to address challenges and drive efficiency.

Desirable experience

  • Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify best practices and implement them into RPA solutions.
  • Understanding of UI path Insights.
  • Kanban and agile experience.

Location

This role can be based anywhere in the UK. The successful person will be required to work in our Cardiff office once per month. 

Interview Process
