We are looking for a motivated Automation Service Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company within their respective field. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description
- Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of electrical systems across a wide variety of equipment and industries.
- Support of installation, commissioning, shut down, start up and maintenance services.
- Develop electrical designs, schematics, PLC code, HMI code and systems
- Conducting reactive and planned maintenance tasks on industrial electrical systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- HNC/D in electronic and electrical engineering
- Previous PLC experience on Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or Siemens
- 18th Edition
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent electrical fault-finding skills
- At least 3 years' experience in a Service Engineering
