Automation Test Analyst

Role: Automation Tester

Location: Northampton, UK/Knutsford, UK

Hybrid work: 3 days a week in the office and 2 days remotely

The focus of your role

Capgemini is seeking an Automation Tester to join Capgemini Financial Services . This is a permanent, full-time position and this represents a unique opportunity for someone to enhance their Digital Consulting career

Required Qualifications:

Technical Requirements :

Create Automation code using Java, Selenium, jQuery, Cucumber without support.

Maven project Configuration and Good knowledge on CI/CID pipeline configurations using Jenkins.

Knowledge on all git command to resolve the conflicts in the team.

Work on enhancements needed to the repository and framework to enable other team members, work on automation scripting.

Work on JIRA requests raised by the team to create new cucumber keywords or enhance the existing one for the team to proceed.

Creation of user documentation to support automation solutions for the application.

Structured handover of test automation solutions to project test team members

Detailed User guide creation and setup for automation users

Conducting user trainings for issue identification and reporting of failures identified through automation.

Maintenance of skills and knowledge for approved test automation tools and developments in test engineering tools and techniques

Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverable during test automation and dry-run phases where applicable. Escalate issues to LM as appropriate.

Skill Expectations :

Graduate with technical background

Minimum 4 years of experience on banking domain with knowledge of test automation.

PMP and ISTQB/QAI certification will be an advantage.

Domain/Testing/Technical certification will be an advantage.

Play Wright with java is added advantage.
