About the role
This post will suit an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher with a background in Automotive service and repair. In this role, you will lead the Automotive Programme delivering to year 10 and 11 learners providing students with a dynamic Study Programme that will set them up ready for the world of work. This is a great opportunity to watch the learners develop throughout their course as you will also be responsible for all elements including marking and assessing their work, managing the programme on a day-to-day basis.
The Key responsibilities of this role are, creating Schemes of Work and delivering great Teaching and Learning to ensure that our Learners are provided with a positive experience.
About the person
The successful candidate will be fully qualified with minimum Level 3 in Automotive and have relevant work/Industrial experience within the automotive industry as a Vehicle Technician. Candidates should also have experience teaching in a school, college or equivalent within this subject area and would ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE/Cert Ed).
