Auxiliary Technician

We have a new and exciting opportunity for talented individuals to join on of our prestigious clients as an Auxiliary Technician, ensuring efficient and smooth running of their life science laboratory on a temporary basis.

It’s a role that you will be able to do knowing you will have contributed to the research and development of the next ground-breaking pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and agrochemical products and potentially make a difference in people’s lives helping to combat serious illnesses and diseases such as Cancer, Dementia and Heart Disease etc.

The role

As an Auxiliary Technician you will be required to carry out general maintenance and cleaning duties around the Lab assisting the Researchers and Scientists in their day-to-day duties. Your duties and responsibilities will be but not limited to:

• Using machinery such as an autoclave
• Assisting in general lab duties to assist the Research and Scientist when required
• Washing of laboratory equipment using a car wash machine or manual method, as directed in accordance with the facilities hygiene standards
• Cleaning and maintaining the rooms and associated areas to the company’s written standards
• Receiving and dispatching of goods into and out of the barrier, with the correct use of the sterilization procedures to maintain barrier status
• Carrying out any other tasks or duties as may be required by the Group leader or supervisor from time to time
