Excel are currently seeking an electrical/avionic engineer for our UK based client based in the South of the UK on a permanent basis to join their workshop based team undertaking maintenance activities and Part 21 manufacturing and production functions.
You will be involved with various areas of the company including design, engineering control and aircraft maintenance to achieve project and programme delivery across the areas of electrical and avionic engineering - this could include calibration and servicing of test and ground support equipment, modification and upgrade of avionic and electrical components or even testing and certification of aircraft parts.
Ideally we are looking for someone with previous experience within the aviation sector, in particular; workshop, hangar or productions based roles or those with a solid understanding of aircraft maintenance in relation to electrical and avionic functions.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone nearer to the start of their aviation career, or perhaps close to or recently leaving the military looking for the opportunity to move into a more civilian based position in which to further their career.
