Azure Data Engineer

Whitehall Resources require an Azure Data Engineer to work with a key client on a 6 month initial contract.

* The client would prefer candidates who are able to be onsite in Copenhagen twice per week but will also consider fully remote resources.

Azure Data Engineer

You’re perfect for this role if you have:
* Proven experience with especially ADF, DataBricks, Synapse, tabular models/analysis services, PowerBI and SQL Server
* Experience with at least one object oriented or functional/scripting/querying languages – Java, Scala, Python, SQL, DAX etc.
* DevOps and CI/CD focus preferably with JIRA
* Hands-on with git and coding best practice
* Experience in working with relational data sets using SQL
* Experience with datawarehousing, dimensional modelling and cubes
* Experience in building, and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets
* Experience in working with Azure, AWS or other cloud providers
* Designed, built and delivered production ready data products at an enterprise level
* Highly proficient in English and able to communicate with all levels
* Agile mindset and experience of Scrum

It’s a plus if you have worked with:
* SAP ERP datasets
* Big data: Spark, Hadoop
* Stream-processing systems: Kafka or Spark Streaming
