Location: Elstree, Hertfordshire
Salary: £63,000-£70,000 DOE
Hours: 6:00-14:00, 14:00-21:00 double days shift rotation
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays

This client has been established for over 50 years and is a market leader in the helicopter industry throughout Europe, with 4 sites throughout the UK. The Role:

• Electrical & Mechanical fault finding, maintenance & rectification on helicopters and aeronautical machinery
• Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on aircraft at base and line locations (London)
• Utilising your hydraulic and pneumatic skillset to work on helicopters and aeronautical machinery on site.
• Supervising and carrying out maintenance and repairs on helicopters, ensuring that this is completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintain line station tools/equipment within the site
• Co-ordinate engineering support with London senior engineer and customer flight operations
• There is a call out rota as part of this position (1 in 2 weeks) – this comes with a call out uplift payment and working at overtime rate

The Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a helicopter/aeronautical engineer (essential)
• B1.3 Licenced engineer (essential)
• Proven mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
• Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) – Advantageous
• Wants to progress within the aviation industry
