About the role:
Activate Learning are seeking a dynamic and strategic B2B Marketing Manager to oversee and integrate marketing strategies for Activate Learning's new Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQ). Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans, driving product development initiatives, and fostering key stakeholder relationships to maximise market penetration and ROI.
Establishing and maintaining sustainability of the HTQ programme. Achieved through effective marketing strategies, managing the entire process of acquiring and nurturing business leads, coordinating with agencies for effective promotion, and ensuring clear communication within the organisation. .
Location: Hybrid role with flexibility to be located at any of our campuses in Berkshire, Oxfordshire or Surrey with travel to other sites required.
What do you need to be successful as a B2B Marketing Manager?
The B2B Marketing Manager position requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic acumen, and a collaborative mindset to propel our team towards greater achievements. You'll need to skilfully manage stakeholders, utilising your exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to foster consensus and accomplish strategic goals while nurturing strong relationships with key partners.
The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic setting, contributing to an innovative team that values forward thinking. Your role will involve spearheading innovation, developing clear plans, adeptly managing stakeholders, and thriving in both independent and collaborative settings. Meeting deadlines and achieving targets are also essential aspects of this position.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in similar roles within Higher or Further Education, Training, Apprenticeships, or B2B environments.
  • Professional qualification in marketing (CIM) or a related field is desirable
  • At least 3 years experience of impactful marketing and communication delivery
  • B2B marketing experience
  • Experience of working with sales teams
  • Strong supplier relationships building experience with a commercial mindset
  • Ability to analyse data and present proposals
